A Day of Design

A Day of Design is a boutique interior design studio founded in 2009 by Ebru Mengenecioğlu a nd Mehmet Yucebasoglu in the Teşvikiye district of Istanbul. The studio’s interior design projects are led by Mehmet Yucebasoglu.
His work has been realized in cities including New York, London, Miami, Paris, Dubai, and Istanbul. He designed window displays for Hermès stores in Istanbul and Beirut for five years, and collaborated with brands such as Wallpaper Magazine.
In 2023, Mehmet Yucebasoglu was named Interior Designer of the Year by Maison Française.
His design approach is inspired by the modern classical period. He creates refined, contemporary spaces with a strong sense of history. Custom furniture design and the use of materials such as marble, wood, stainless steel and textiles are central to his process.
